Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious salesperson who combines thehunter’s driveto win new business with thefarmer’s skill in nurturing long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will actively seek out new opportunities, meet prospects face-to-face, and build lasting partnerships that generate repeat business.
Your core objective is to securemultiple small-to-mid-size installation projects (average £10-30k per job), particularly in CCTV, access control and fire systems, while creating a strong pipeline for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and engage new commercial prospects throughnetworking, cold outreach, site visits, and industry events.
* Conduct client meetings, surveys, and presentations to understand requirements and promote SSY solutions.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations toclose deals efficiently and profitably.
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to encouragerepeat business and referrals.
* Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
* Represent SSY at industry events and networking forums to enhance brand visibility.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports for management review.
What We’re Looking For
* ProvenB2B field sales experience, ideally in security systems, fire safety, or related industries.
* A naturalhunter-farmer blend– thrives on winning new business but understands the value of client retention.
* Strongnetworking skillsand confidence to build relationships with decision-makers.
* Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a target-driven mindset.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across East Anglia.
