The role focuseson providing technical supply-chain support, ensuring the accuracy of support documentation, and contributing to the smooth transition of programmes into sustainment. Key Responsibilities: Actastheinitialpointofcontactfortechnicalsupply-chainqueriesrelatingtoaircraftpartsand their usage. ReviewLogisticSupportAnalysis(LSA)updatesfollowingbaselinechangesandadvisethe supply-chain team on any resulting spares amendments. Examinetechnicaldocumentationtohelpidentifysuitablealternativesforlonglead-time spares. Contributetocontingencyplanningandensureprogrammesareeffectivelypreparedfor sustainment phases. WorkcloselywiththeLSAandTechnicalPublicationsteamstoensureaircraftdocumentationis updated accurately. CollaboratewithProductSupportEngineerstoresolveearly-stagetechnical issues. Mentorsupply-chainpersonnelinunderstandingandinterpretingtechnical information. SupportthereviewofMaintenanceTaskAnalysisandvendordatatoinformprogramme- specific Level of Repair Analysis (LORA). DesiredSkills,Experienceand Qualifications: Knowledgeofsupportengineeringwithinmilitaryordefence environments. Experienceinsupply-chainengineeringorlogisticssupport analysis. Abilitytointerpretaircraftdrawingsandtechnical documentation. Competenceinusingaircraftdocumentsetsandcontributingtosupport-product documentation. Adegreeorequivalentqualificationinarelevantengineeringdisciplineisdesirablebutnot mandatory. Appropriateprofessionalcertificationsorequivalentexperiencefromanaccredited institution.
