Resuscitation Officer

* To provide clinical and technical support and advice when acting as a member of the cardiac arrest team.
* To provide ALS cover at DDC Nightingale hospital, which will involve some weekend work.

More about the role
The post holder will:
* Assist in planning, administering, and delivering training on all aspects of resuscitation, including Basic and Advanced Life Support (ALS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), Paediatric Immediate Life Support (pILS), and European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS). Training will be provided to clinical staff, students, qualified and unqualified nurses, paramedics, hospital personnel, and community members.
* Support the Senior Resuscitation Officer in providing professional advice on resuscitation techniques and equipment, and participate in reviewing and auditing hospital resuscitation procedures.
* Attend medical emergencies and cardiac arrests to support staff during and after these events.
* Provide ALS cover at CDC Nightingale Hospital, which involves some weekend work.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
