Outline Job Description:
This role will deliver market leading profitable growth within the UK NHS Healthcare market throughout the Midlands area. Upholding our values and culture to own our why statement, products, and services to outlined customers, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Business Development & Account Growth
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across the Midland region.
* Grow and retain Ocura’s presence within Midlands NHS Hospitals and community sites.
* Be the key contact and trusted advisor for your customer base.
Customer Engagement & Sales Strategy
* Develop a robust understanding of customer needs and Ocura’s portfolio.
* Execute ‘soft’ up-selling and cross-selling to maximize value.
* Use data analysis to build effective sales strategies.
* Negotiate terms and close deals confidently and effectively.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
* Manage multiple stakeholders within customer organizations.
* Represent Ocura at exhibitions and product demonstration events.
* Provide feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement.
* Support and collaborate with the wider sales team to meet collective goals.
Operational Excellence
* Maintain accurate CRM records (opportunities, contacts, pipeline progression).
* Understand market trends and competitor activity.
Person Specification:

* Passion for customer service and building long-term relationships
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Results-driven and resilient, with a proactive mindset
Experience & Skills
* Proven track record of sales success, ideally in healthcare furniture or private healthcare
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen (e.g., margin control)
* Comfortable engaging at all levels within a healthcare environment including Procurement and senior management
* Team-oriented, reliable, and motivated to support others
Other Requirements
* Willing to travel extensively across the UK
* Confident in presenting and articulating Ocura’s value proposition
* Living within the Midlands area
