We are looking to employ a Credit Administrator for a permanent, hybrid role based at our Wetherby office.
At Agrii, we work in partnership with farmers, suppliers, and colleagues across the UK to deliver innovation, expertise, and trusted support — from crop production and agronomy services to seed, fertiliser, finance and logistics.
We're now looking for a Credit Administrator to join our Finance & Credit Administration team, helping us maintain accurate customer accounts and deliver excellent service across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is detail-focused, proactive, and confident in handling financial processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth cash allocations, resolving queries, and supporting our credit management function.
In this role, you will:
* Process incoming payments (Bacs, cheques, and credit cards) and allocate them to customer accounts.
* Support reconciliations for cash sales, unallocated cash, and direct debits.
* Distribute reminder letters, customer invoices, credit notes, and account statements.
* Assist with audits, month-end reporting, and provide supporting documentation as required.
* Handle general administration tasks, including team inbox management, posting, and customer queries.
* Provide receptionist cover for the team, including handling calls, taking card payments, and issuing balance confirmations.
* Work closely with internal and external customers to identify and resolve allocation discrepancies, helping reduce aged debt.
What you'll bring:
* Previous experience in sales ledger and credit control administration.
* Strong Excel skills and confidence with reporting and reconciliation.
* Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and organised approach.
* Clear and confident communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
* A proactive, adaptable attitude with the ability to manage busy periods and work well under pressure.
