Financial Controller £50,000 - £60,000 Birmingham Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established, growing SME in the manufacturing sector, based in Birmingham. Known for their high-quality, tailored products and commitment to customer satisfaction, this company is looking for someone to take ownership of their finance function and contribute to the wider business strategy. This role is key to ensuring financial control, supporting operational decision-making, and helping shape the future growth of the business. Key Responsibilities: Producing and reviewing monthly management accounts Coordinating the year-end audit and acting as the lead point of contact for auditors Delivering budgets, forecasts, and in-depth variance analysis Managing cash flow and producing regular financial reports Providing commercial insight to guide strategic decisions Overseeing statutory compliance including VAT and payroll Leading and developing a small finance teamThe successful candidate will have: A fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) - essential Proven background in a manufacturing or product-focused environment Strong management accounting skills and attention to detail A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently Strong communicator, confident working with senior leadership Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similarIf you would like to apply for the role, please send your CV to (url removed)
