We’re looking for an experienced and proficient Sales Operations Administrator to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a smooth-running Sales Operations function, facilitating our Sales team to raise awareness of Embridge’s expertise and inspiring potential customers to engage with our world-class solutions, helping organisations benefit from our ‘People First’ business transformation approach across Finance, HR, Digital Transformation, and more.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide Sales Operations support to the Sales team under the guidance and direction of the Head of Sales Operations, managing administrative priorities, monitoring compliance with approved procedures, facilitating communication, and maintaining efficient operations of the function. In addition to day-to-day Sales Operations administration activities, on a frequent but not daily basis, this role also incorporates bid management administration duties, so the role will be key in supporting best practice qualification and informed decision making, as well as administrative management of the response progression of a compliant bid through to submission.
You will be a proficient and experienced sales administrator, proactive in their working habits and able to work with minimal intervention. As deputy to the Head of Sales Operations, it is critical that the role holder can work flexibly and adaptively, with excellent time management skills and exemplary communication styles. The role is varied and no two days will be the same. Activities will require a range of skills, from quality assurance and attention to detail, to reporting and data analysis and ability to interpret and represent data to help inform decision making, to being system administration on the Sales arm of our CRM, through to bid management and acting for the Head of Sales Ops during periods of absence.

Key responsibilities:
* Sales reporting and basic analysis of data, trends, and gaps for escalation and remedy. Presentation of data in easily understandable insights to help inform decision-making and forecasting.
* CRM: system admin maintenance and enablement for new joiners.
* Sales process enablement for team members as well as monitoring compliance to approved sales process.
* Quality assurance: acting as 2 nd QA on all externally facing sales material.
* Template and sales library management.
* Document and collateral development.
* Bid management administration aligned to our sales roles matrix and using our approved best practice process.
* Assist the Head of Sales Operations with qualification and application to frameworks, such as G-Cloud and general procurement frameworks.
* Portal management, working in conjunction with our Business Development function.
* Deputising for the Head of Sales Operations during periods of absence.
* Promote and enable communication and collaboration across teams and, where required, with external partners. Foster teamwork and enable the right people to have the right information they need to achieve outcomes.
* Problem solving and critical thinking to help identify issues and find smart, efficient and effective remedies and solutions.
* Process management, optimising process workflows, reducing errors and gaps, and improving overall performance. Enforcing standard approved business practices and monitoring compliance.
* Undertaking any other ad hoc duties as reasonably required by Leadership.

Essential skills:
* 5+ years’ experience in a senior sales administration post.
* Experience working and collaborating with all levels of business, including C-Level.
* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with ability to influence across all levels of a business.
* Demonstrable understanding of managing complex administrative processes, with understanding and experience of best practice bid management highly desirable.
* Able to provide insightful recommendations on appropriate ways to respond to client needs in bids, tenders, requests for proposals, etc., such as tone of voice, naming conventions, what will be required to ensure compliance with instructions, etc.
* Quality assurance experience, including the ability to accurately yet swiftly proofread materials, frequently complex and large volumes of materials, identifying errors or gaps and recommendations for critical improvements to increase the quality of the material and the compelling proposition and information it conveys.
* Commercially aware with an understanding of forecasting.

* Demonstrable understanding of best practice sales processes and operations.
* Comfortable working independently and demonstrable ability to produce high-volume, high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision.
* Excellence time management skills and ability to find smart ways of working to create efficiencies without effecting the quality of the outcome. Able to manage multiple priorities often to tight timelines.
* Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Competent with Outlook. An understanding of how to use Microsoft Visio and Planner desirable.
* Outcome driven and focused with a clear ability to problem solve and think critically.
* Experience selling digital transformation or business consulting services an advantage.
* Knowledge of procurement processes within local authorities, NHS Trusts, or charitable organisations desirable.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
