The Opportunity

A well-established main contractor with a strong pipeline across the North West is seeking a Junior Document Controller to join their Manchester team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a structured, supportive environment while gaining exposure to large-scale construction projects.
The Role
You will support project teams in managing documentation and ensuring information is accurate, organised, and accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with setting up and maintaining document control systems
* Upload, distribute, and track project drawings and technical documents
* Ensure documents are stored and filed correctly
* Support communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
* Provide general administrative support to the document control function
The Candidate
This role is ideal for someone early in their document control career or transitioning into construction.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an admin or document control role (construction experience beneficial)
* Familiarity with document management systems is desirable
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a Tier 1 environment
* Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
