Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £26k - £42k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent company expansion, our client is recruiting for a qualified and professional Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. Our client is a medium-sized outfit, with a strong presence in the Northern region and Yorkshire. Ideally, applicants will have good access to the M62 for easier travel to a mix of commercial and domestic client sites. For hardworking candidates, our client is able to offer excellent further training and development routes within the industry. You will be travelling across, Leeds, Wakefield, Garforth, Normanton, Castleford, Pontefract, Snaith, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley, Mirfield, Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Halifax, Bradford, Shipley, Keighley, Horsforth, Harrogate, Wetherby, Tadcaster, Knaresborough, York, Selby, Thorne, Doncaster, Sheffield, Sheffield, Barnsley, Oldham, Stockport, Rochdale, Bury.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
* Good track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
* Will have experience working within a UKAS accredited outfit
* Robust knowledge of HSG 248 and HSG 264 guidelines
* Professional manner
* Proficient using IT software
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
* Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across a range of client sites
* Collecting asbestos samples from site and bagging correctly
* Conducting 4 stage clearances
* Carrying out personal, smoke, leak, background and reassurance air monitoring
* Adhering to set deadlines and personal targets
* Working across a variety of asbestos removals projects
* Providing tailored technical advice to clients
* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
