Junior Clinical Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics

Main duties of the job
Appointee will be scheduled for on-call duties and attend ward rounds, theatres, and care for ward patients.
Clinical Fellows are not required to do clinics but may observe if desired.
Responsibilities include teaching, research, and supporting junior colleagues.
Work is carried out exclusively at West Middlesex University Hospital.
Job responsibilities
* Attend on-call rota and cover duties as required.
* Participate in ward rounds with Senior Doctors and Clinical Fellows.
* Assist in inpatient and outpatient care across the department.
* Contribute to postgraduate teaching for clinical students.
* Engage in clinical research and audit projects.
* Provide support to the orthopaedic department’s teaching and training initiatives.
Person Specification
* MRCS
* Full GMC registration
* Full-time hospital service experience at SHO or higher grade since first full or limited registration.
* UK orthopaedic experience
* FRCS
* Experience in audit and research
* Teaching experience
