Key Responsibilities:
Provide key financial data for internal month-end P&L submissions
Remeasure and check BOQ updates
Conduct risk analysis and forecasting for cost and value
Manage cost provisions and accruals, including third-party materials, subcontractors, and plant
Analyse weekly cost ledgers using the company's financial systems
Demonstrate competent knowledge of subcontract agreements
Facilitate subcontractor progress and update meetings
Agree on subcontractor valuations and payment certificates
Compile data for inclusion in main payment applications
Conduct commercial auditing of subcontracts, including payment applications, rates, and claims
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Cost Engineer in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of NEC 4 Option B Contracts and the NAECI Agreement
Expertise in the Standard Method of Measurement
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using financial systems, such as SAP and Power BI
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
