About Intelligent Infrastructure
The Intelligent Infrastructure (II) business provides advisory and design services to make transportation and infrastructure cleaner, safer and more enjoyable through technology. Our Systems & Infrastructure group specializes in five technical areas:
* Connectivity – Advising on solutions that interconnect applications and devices, including Standards Advisory, Technical Assurance and Design in 4G/5G, LPWAN, Unified Communications, WAN and Fibre.
* Cyber security – Supporting clients operating Critical National Infrastructure across the cyber security lifecycle for non-classical IT, IoT and mixed environments.
* Data and architecture – Using data and analytics to deliver objectives; transport-domain aware architects work across business, application, and technology layers to enable client solutions.
* Digital infrastructure design – Using digital models to ensure roadside technology design works first time in real-world environments.
* Systems – Applying systems engineering and systems thinking to deliver complex, primarily operational technology systems, including specification, procurement, verification and validation.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the capabilities described above as part of the Systems & Infrastructure group.
* Contribute to consultancy-style projects across transport and infrastructure sectors.
* Collaborate with clients, consultants, or contractors, with experience in transport, public sector or high-risk environments encouraged.
Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a technical background and relevant qualifications in one of the technical areas above. Please submit your CV for consideration.
* Experience on high-quality consultancy-style projects aligned with one or more technical areas described above.
* Experience as a client, consultant or contractor in transport, public sector or high-risk environments.
* A degree in a relevant engineering discipline and professional registration with an accredited institute, or equivalent industry experience.
