We are working with a large and highly inclusive primary school in Cardiff to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to support within their Specialist Resource Base (SRB) from September.

About the SRB Provision:
The school has two well-established SRB classes, each supporting around 10 pupils with additional learning needs. The provision is thoughtfully designed to provide a structured, nurturing environment where children can thrive both academically and socially, while still feeling part of the wider school community.
About the Role:
* Full-time position (Monday–Friday, term time only)
* Supporting pupils within the SRB with a range of additional learning needs (ALN)
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider support staff
* Assisting with tailored learning activities, interventions, and daily routines
* Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and social development
* Encouraging independence and confidence in all pupils
* Helping integrate pupils into the wider school where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children with ALN, ideally within an SRB, SEN, or specialist setting
* A calm, patient, and adaptable approach
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Confidence supporting needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech & language, and sensory needs
* A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a difference
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
