Production Planning Administrator | Wimborne | upto £35k DOE

Reporting into the Production Manager this Production Planning Administrator role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in a manufacturing environment where planning and precision are essential.

As a Production Planning Administrator, you will benefit from:

Autonomy to produce and expedite work schedules and priorities within a defined framework
Close working relationship with senior production and purchasing stakeholders
A role that requires accuracy, reliability and attention to detail
Clear processes and systems to support effective planning and delivery
As a Production Planning Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and updating production schedules to meet demand
Scheduling internal works orders across manufacturing and assembly functions
Creating work-to lists to support internal production activity
Raising purchase orders in line with production requirements
Liaising with the internal purchasing team and suppliers to track order progress and escalate delays
Supporting just-in-time delivery principles to maintain production flow
As a Production Planning Administrator, your experience will include:

Previous experience in a fast-paced production planning / scheduling (preferably within manufacturing)
Competence using Microsoft Excel / ERP systems
Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A methodical and analytical approach to data and planning information
Confidence communicating with internal teams and external suppliers
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
A relentless energy for continuous improvement
