Speech and Language Therapist
Axcis is working with a Special School in Dawlish that creates high-quality education and exemplary pastoral care for students with ASC, complex needs, MLD and communication needs. An opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapist, starting in September, to lead communication practice across the school. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives.
Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Speech and Language Therapist, or hold qualifications but new to the profession
* Experience or knowledge of complex needs, MLD and co‑occurring difficulties and autistic spectrum condition
* Ideally some experience of running social communication groups
* Ability to work as an integral member of a team that places pupils’ learning and wellbeing at the centre
Working Hours & Pay
Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:45 – 3:45. Pay to scale.
