Responsibilities
* Work alongside and report to the Head and/or Sous Chef to achieve the highest standards of food production and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Oversee food safety and uphold health and safety compliance.
* Maintain high standards across all kitchen sections and ensure cleanliness in food preparation areas.
* Prepare and serve food to specification, supervise staff, manage stock, minimise waste, and contribute to departmental goals.
* Assist during busy periods and participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* GCSE qualification and/or Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
* Previous hospitality industry cooking experience preferred
Schedule
* We operate a 7-days-a-week business, from 0600 to 2300
* Shift patterns vary per business requirements and include weekends and bank holidays
* Evening availability for functions (until 0200)
