Thermal Insulation Engineer

Bilfinger UK is looking for Insulators to join us on-site at AWE.
Immediate start available
Duration: 4 Months
Rotation: 10 days on, 4 days off
Week 1: Tuesday to Thursday, 11.5 hours; Friday to Sunday, 10 hours
Week 2: Monday to Wednesday, 11.5 hours; Thursday, 6 hours
Attractive site bonus, taxable lodge (£50.81/day), and taxable travel paid bi-weekly.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Must be aware of personal accountability.
* Have the required competencies for fabricating and applying specialist insulation systems, cladding, and sealant to pipework, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations, while considering environmental and sustainability factors.
* Understand relevant legislative, regulatory, and local requirements, including reporting procedures.
* Understand preparation and reinstatement requirements for work areas, materials, and equipment, and the consequences of incorrect actions.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manuals, and follow work instructions and schedules.
* Know which tools and equipment to use, when, and follow relevant training, methods, and safety procedures.
* Ensure the care and security of tools and equipment.
* Handle digital information, technology, and equipment to support work tasks and communication.
* Apply insulation and metallic/non-metallic cladding systems.
* Understand QA/QC requirements and COSHH regulations for products used.
Qualifications
* TICA Advanced Craft Card (TICA Skills Card).
* Ability to apply for security clearance.
