Position:
As a Production Operative in our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of production machinery and processes. This includes handling raw materials, monitoring equipment, performing basic quality checks, and ensuring products meet required specifications. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
* Set up and configure production machinery according to work instructions
* Perform routine adjustments and calibrations
* Conduct pre-operation safety checks
* Operate thread rolling machinery to produce threaded components
* Monitor thread quality and dimensional accuracy
* Perform in-process quality checks
* Perform Sems assembly (screw and washer combinations)
* Ensure correct component pairing and fit
* Maintain assembly quality standards
* Execute cropping operations to specified dimensions
* Handle kitting of components for production lines
* Organise and prepare materials for downstream processes
* Apply molycoating to components following SOPs
* Perform thread locking applications

Requirements:
* Demonstrates the ACE values (Agility, Collaboration & Empathy) consistently when producing work or communicating with colleagues, customers and suppliers
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Good team player with strong communication skills.
* Organised and able to work independently when required.
* Basic IT skills (WMS or ERP system experience is a bonus).
* Production Experience (advantageous)
