Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term workshop schedules using MRP systems
Use MRP data to plan work orders based on material availability, capacity, and lead times
Release and sequence work orders to the workshop floor
Coordinate with production planning, purchasing, and stores to ensure materials are available
Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to minimize downtime and delays
Analyse MRP outputs to identify shortages, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints
Maintain accurate scheduling and production records in MRP system
Communicate schedules, priorities, and changes to supervisors and directors
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or degree in Production Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
Proven experience as a Workshop Scheduler, Production Planner, or similar role
Strong hands-on experience with Sage 200 MRP/ERP system
Solid understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, lead times, and capacity planning
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools

Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering workshops
