Job Description - What will you be doing?
As a Home Care Assistant you will need to be reliable, flexible, friendly, punctual, caring and professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
This is a permanent full time position that provides between 35-42 hours per week on a rolling weekly rota. You will provided with an extremely competitive rate of pay and we will work with you to ensure both parties are satisfied with the schedule to be worked.
The successful candidate must be able to provide care and support to the best of their ability and have the following skills and experience:
1. The ability to treat people with dignity and respect
2. All aspects of continence support and personal care
3. Administering medication
4. General household duties
5. Maintain good communication with staff and service users
6. Develop effective working relationships
7. Provide companionship and empathy
8. Promote a person centred approach to care
9. Can work independently and as part of a team
Applicants don't need to have any experience as industry-leading training will be provided, however we do welcome experienced applicants.
Enhanced DBS on the live update system would be preferred but not essential as a new DBS can be applied for.
A Full UK driving license and access to your own car is essential due to the nature of travel.
