We are looking for a physiotherapist who is enthusiastic about working with people and collaborating with other professionals to deliver high‑quality MSK services within Victoria Hospital, Rothesay.
This is an excellent opportunity to apply and further develop your MSK experience as part of a proactive multidisciplinary team providing outpatient care for people with musculoskeletal conditions in the rural area of Argyll and Bute.
The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner within the MSK Physiotherapy Service, providing comprehensive assessment, clinical diagnosis, and the design and delivery of evidence‑based treatment plans for patients with complex and varied presentations.
As a senior physiotherapist, the post holder will also support junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and students. This may include line management responsibilities, clinical mentorship, delivery of training, and acting as a student placement educator.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to service evaluation and development to ensure the MSK Physiotherapy Service continues to deliver effective, efficient, and high‑quality care.
The post holder will be motivated to continue developing their MSK knowledge and skills, proactively working to consolidate and progress towards advanced‑level practice.
* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rated basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
