Department: Lighting Division – Internal Location: Luton, Bedfordshire Reports To: Senior Product & Sourcing Manager The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Graduate Lighting Product Manager to join our growing team, supporting the development and expansion of lighting ranges across the Deta Group brands. This role offers a strong starting point with one of the UK’s most respected electrical brands, providing hands-on exposure to lighting product development, marketing, and commercial strategy. Job Responsibilities Market Research & Trend Analysis. Support in collecting and analysing competitor activity, pricing structures, and consumer trends. Help shape our lighting category strategy through data led insights. Product Development & Range Support: Collaborate with an experienced team to bring new lighting products to market. Assist in managing current ranges, ensuring they remain competitive, and innovative. Marketing & Promotional Activity. Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotions that support sales in retail. Work closely with the sales team to provide insight and materials that support retail customers growth. Cross-Brand Collaboration: Gain exposure to all Deta Group brands and see how product categories align across the retail channel. Work across departments including sales, marketing, product development, operations, and Far East suppliers. Sales Performance Monitoring: Use sales data to track product and category performance. Present findings and recommend ways to improve products, pricing, or positioning. Qualifications, Skills & Experience A degree in Business, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field Product Passion & Customer Focus. You should be naturally curious about how products work and how they solve real customer needs. You enjoy working as part of a team to deliver effective solutions. Organised & Analytical, detail-oriented and methodical, with strong Excel skills. Comfortable managing data and supporting decision-making through structured analysis. Great Communicator. Confident presenting ideas, both in writing and in person, and comfortable engaging with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Full UK Driving Licence: Required for occasional customer visits.
