Talent Link Recruitment is currently working with a well-established manufacturer who is looking to add a Woodworking Machinist (Veneer) to their production team.
This role would suit someone with a background in woodworking or furniture manufacturing who enjoys precision work and takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Key Duties
* Preparing wood veneer materials ready for the production process
* Measuring and trimming veneer sheets to the required dimensions
* Matching grain patterns and tones to achieve a consistent finish
* Operating basic woodworking machinery and hand tools
* Checking quality throughout each stage of production
* Supporting colleagues to ensure production targets are met
* Keeping the workspace safe, tidy, and well organised
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience within woodworking, furniture production, or a similar environment
* A good eye for detail and high standards of workmanship
* Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
* Comfortable working as part of a small production team
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
