 
        EC&I Technician Up to £53,000 plus benefits Milton Keynes MC Technical Recruitment are partnered with a leading provider of energy from waste in Milton Keynes, seeking an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Technician to join their team. Working on a Monday to Friday, early, day & late shift basis, the EC&I Technician will carry out planned & preventative maintenance across the entire power generation & recycling facilities. As the EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for: Carry out planned & reactive maintenance on process plant Investigating & rectifying electrical faults to minimise plant downtime Supporting the operations team in daily maintenance activities Responding to breakdowns to ensure continuous operations Recommend plant spares & repairs to Maintenance manager Assist the maintenance manager with statutory inspections Liaise with operations team regarding fault finding & modification to process equipment Working on a days basis to support operations across the site Any other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A relevant engineering qualified (HNC/NVQ/Apprenticeship etc.) Proven experience in EfW or relevant sector (Biomass / CCGT / energy from waste / Water) Experience troubleshooting, fault finding & rectifying problems on DCS, SCADA and PLCs Electrical maintenance experience on motors, switchgear, VSDs, control panels, etc. Knowledge of all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation & safe systems of work, RAMS, permit to work, etc. This is a permanent position based in Milton Keynes; due to the on call rota, you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site.
