Job Description
The Real Estate Solicitor will be:
3. Managing the full lifecycle of real estate transactions, acquisitions & disposals
4. Handling lease renewals, restructurings and landlord/tenant matters
5. Advising on SDLT, land registry and title issues associated with site transactions
6. Providing general day‑to‑day real estate legal support to the in‑house team
7. Working closely with commercial, facilities and property teams to drive outcomes
8. Drafting, negotiating and reviewing leases, licences, sale/purchase agreements and other property contracts
9. Mitigating property‑related risks and advising on best practice compliance and governance
The Successful Applicant
The Real Estate Solicitor should be:
10. A solicitor (or equivalent) with 4+ years PQE in real estate law
11. Experienced in managing acquisitions, disposals and lease renewals in‑house or with a commercial property team
12. Confident advising on SDLT and land registration matters
13. Skilled at contract drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management
14. Commercially aware, able to present legal advice in business terms
15. Comfortable working in a hybrid/3-4 days per week environment and part of a wider legal & business team
