We are seeking a commercial Gas Engineer to join our clients team in the Buckinghamshire area.
There is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking to progress into a management role, overseeing the work of engineers and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
Responsibilities of Commercial Gas Engineer
* Manage and coordinate a team of engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas systems.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all gas-related matters, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
* Perform regular inspections and audits of gas installations to ensure compliance and safety.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation for all gas systems in line with health and safety guidelines.
* Collaborate with other departments and contractors to maintain seamless operation on-sites
* Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing training and development opportunities.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate potential hazards.
Essential Qualifications/Skills for Commercial Gas Engineer
* Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, with a strong understanding of gas systems.
* Familiarity with relevant gas safety standards and regulations.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
* Must be eligible for security vetting, which will be conducted prior to employment.
* Gas Safe registered.
