Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist

Job Responsibilities:
* Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients in a clinical setting.
* Act as a Consultant Psychiatrist/Responsible Clinician, overseeing the care of patients.
* Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and recovery.
* Utilize positive behavioral support principles to promote rehabilitation and empower service users.
* Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act 1983 and maintain high-quality documentation.
* Lead and participate in clinical meetings and case reviews to ensure best practices.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment protocols and rehabilitation strategies.
* Continuously assess the needs of patients and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and training as required.
Essential Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
* Completed Core Psychiatry Training (CT1–CT3) and Higher Specialist Training (ST4–ST6).
* CCT in General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry.
* GMC registration with a valid license to practice.
* Recognized medical degree (e.g., MBBS, MBChB) from a GMC-approved institution.
Desired Experience:
* Experience working in a rehabilitation-focused environment, incorporating positive behavioral support.
* Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and facilitate collaborative patient care.
* Familiarity with psychiatric diagnosis and treatments relevant to adult and forensic psychiatry.
