Role Overview: As a PE Support, you will plan, organise, and lead sports activities for pupils of various ages and abilities. You will play a key role in encouraging participation, developing skills, and fostering a love of physical activity both during and beyond the school day. Job Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality coaching sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of pupils. Promote teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour through sport. Support school sports programmes and extracurricular clubs. Encourage pupils to adopt healthy lifestyles and physical fitness. Collaborate with teaching staff and external sports providers. Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Job Requirements: Proven experience coaching children or young people in a school or community setting. Strong knowledge of various sports, techniques, and coaching methods. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Ability to engage and inspire pupils of all abilities and backgrounds. Relevant PE Supporting qualifications or certifications (e.g., Level 2 Coaching Award) preferred. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Reliable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach. Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one). Join GSL Education Today!
