Reporting to the General Manager, the Procurement Manager will take ownership of procurement activities across Pulpex’s UK manufacturing and R&D operations, while supporting the continued development of the company’s international Manufacturing-Under-License (MUL) partner network.
This role will be responsible for developing robust supplier partnerships, driving commercial performance, supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring procurement processes are scalable as the business grows globally.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned to business growth, operational performance and sustainability objectives
* Lead sourcing, negotiation and supplier management across raw materials, capital equipment, consumables and indirect spend
* Manage procurement of manufacturing equipment and production line tooling in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing and R&D teams
* Oversee supplier contracts, commercial agreements and supplier performance to ensure cost, quality and service targets are achieved
* Support manufacturing operations through effective materials planning, inventory optimisation and supply chain coordination
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while embedding responsible sourcing and sustainability principles into procurement processes
About You
We are looking for a commercially astute procurement professional with experience operating in manufacturing, industrial or technology-led environments.
You will ideally have:
* Procurement and/or supply chain experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial Environments
* Strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* A pragmatic, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
