The Role
Brook Green Supply are an independent B2B energy supplier committed to providing energy supply solutions to Industrial & Commercial consumers. By solely working with large energy consumers, we provide a high degree of specialism and focus to clients.
This is a wide-ranging role across multiple group business areas in which you will be responsible for leading and managing workshops across the organisation and wider industry, supporting our continued growth and improvement. You will be required to identify processes across the organisation to be mapped to the set standard and stored in the Business Process Library.
Process Mapping is still relatively new to the business, and a lot of work has been put into setting the template, Library, Business Process Safe and standard of mapping expected of the business. The role will focus mainly on but not limited to speaking to various stakeholders across the business, identifying processes done by teams, mapping those processes using MS Visio and created live, approved versions of those documents to be used by the business.
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, with experience in holding meetings and workshops who will work with internal stakeholders. While experience in process mapping, using MS Visio is ideal, it is not important.
* Identify areas of the business to be mapped in MS Visio
* Determine, if any, existing documentation exists for the process
* Establish key Process Library criteria that will help to identify and give ownership to business processes
* Draw ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process maps to the set standard
* Assist in Change Projects as and when required by the business
* Analysing current business processes, workflows and procedures to identify continuous improvements and potential automations
* Co-ordinating and engaging with stakeholders ensuring the correct and appropriate resource(s) are available for mapping workshops
* Track record of engaging with key stakeholders across industry governing bodies
* Ability to promote new ideas and services by applying knowledge of the industry/sector and trends to create value for internal clients and broader stakeholders
* Strong business acumen and ability to build an understanding of the business, to develop a deep understanding of business needs
* Comfortable working with, presenting to, and facilitating decisions among senior stakeholders
* Able to ask the right questions and appropriately challenge the status quo
* Mobilise and lead cross-functional teams in workshops
* Implement appropriate governance structures
* Drive standardisation and best-in-class quality through the use of accredited frameworks and methodologies (i.e. Lean Six Sigma)
* Contribute to our growth strategy to design and plan initiatives and to shape delivery
* Identify opportunities for the business and take action to implement them

* Develop and continuously review KPIs and SLAs aligned to project delivery.
* Foster a culture of excellence with a focus on commercial awareness, engagement, and empowerment.

* Strong communication, presentation and attention to detail

Desirable
* Experience within a B-2-B retail energy supply
* An understanding of process mapping using MS Visio or similar platforms
* A basic understanding of process mapping methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
* Experience in Change and Project Management
