Job Overview
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum content, and supporting learners across a range of construction-related courses. You’ll also contribute to course leadership, assessment, and quality assurance, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the built environment sector. You will also deliver and assess a range of construction and built environment courses, develop curriculum materials, contribute to subject area development, lead or support course teams to ensure effective programme delivery, support student recruitment, guidance and progression, participate in quality assurance, course verification and curriculum planning, maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement and engage in professional development and contribute to departmental improvement.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need: A HNC/HND or degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience, demonstrable industry experience, experience in a lecturing or training role within FE or HE, knowledge of innovative teaching methods and internal quality processes, strong ICT skills and the ability to use digital tools in teaching.
