The Fendale Group brings together a collection of catering brands based in London, united by a passion for delivering exceptional food and hospitality experiences. We design and deliver food experiences across all settings, from intimate dinners and weddings to workplace dining and large-scale brand events.

We are now firmly on the path to growth and looking for an ambitious and highly experienced Senior Event and Sales Manager to join and lead our great team and continue the success in selling & delivering creative, amazing events in prestigious London venues and throughout the UK. Our clients include arts, fashion, media and blue chip companies entertaining in Central London venues plus many private events a year.
We are currently listed at a portfolio of exclusive boutique venues.
The successful candidate will have strong influencing and closing skills and a track record of achieving sales in excess of £1.5m per annum. You will make a positive first impression and will have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to nurture relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
Job deliverables:
* Drive proactive sales
* Securing venue listings
* Maintain relationships with a broad range of existing customers and develop opportunities with them and others
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue and business growth
* Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
* Leverage your own contacts list and network to expand the client base
* Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and promotional efforts
* Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring they are satisfied with the service provided
* Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management
Key tasks:
* Manage all inbound enquiries for Archies and Caiger & Co. ensuring prompt response
* Proactive sales work for venue catering opportunities
* Write and implement the Sales Plan that will effectively increase brand awareness and sales in agreed target markets
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and identifying any opportunities.
* Attend networking events as required to build a strong industry and client network
* Hold weekly sales meeting with Head of Events and General Manager
* Draft tender documents
* Manage new venue opportunities – identify when tenders are up for renewal and get on lists.
Experience & skills:
* Ability to demonstrate initiative, both working on your own and part of a team
* Excellent personal presentation, articulate, self-confident with a flexible and enthusiastic approach
* Catering and hospitality experience and/or venue tender experience
* Ability to deal with clients and staff at all levels
* Ability to negotiate
* Experience of working with Pipedrive or a similar CRM programme
* Previous experience in a sales and marketing role preferably, in the events and hospitality industry.
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Number literate
