This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take on a key leadership role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the firm while driving forward growth and efficiency. Responsibilities of the Practice Manager will include: Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings - both in-person and virtual. Review statutory financial statements, including small company, medium company, and charity accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting standards. Lead client onboarding processes and coordinate the allocation of work across the team to meet deadlines and client expectations. Prepare management accounts and financial reports required by external stakeholders. Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery within the practice. Oversee billing and debtor management across the client portfolio and wider department, highlighting opportunities for improvement. Work closely with partners to support strategic planning and business development. The successful Practice Manager will have: Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (a minimum of 2 years). Strong organisational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving. Commercial awareness and confidence in managing client relationships.
