What you will do:
* Provide leadership and supervision to a team of social workers, domestic abuse practitioners, recovery workers, and mental health workers to ensure exceptional support for children and families.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with team members and key partners, delivering services within budget and aligned with policies and procedures.
* Champion the needs of children and their families, providing quality supervision to build trust and confidence with every interaction.
* Implement the Family Safeguarding Model, collaborating with the team to provide holistic assessments and services that meet the needs of the entire family.
* Ensure timely, effective, and policy‑compliant service delivery, continuously improving practices and adapting to the evolving needs of the community.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
* Degree or equivalent in social work.
* Current Social Work England registration.
* Recent managerial experience and significant frontline experience in Children’s Services.
* Proven track record working as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
