Marketing coordinator
Posted: 8 June
Offer description

Mayflower are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of campaigns to drive sales, attendance and engagement. This role will work closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate marketing activity across multiple projects. Beyond campaign planning, analysing performance to provide valuable insights and assisting the team with administrative assistance, this role will also deliver basic graphic design briefs to support the wider business.

The role will be offered based on a permanent contract, at 37.5 hours per week with occasional work required on evenings and weekends.

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Plan and deliver marketing campaigns for shows, events, and projects to drive sales and attendance
* Support the wider campaigns team on multiple concurrent marketing activities
* Act as a key contact for internal and external requests, including promoters and stakeholders
* Create briefs and coordinate with external agencies and suppliers
* Produce and manage marketing assets, including basic design and resizing in line with brand guidelines
* Coordinate the collation of materials such as brochures and campaign content
* Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance, sales, and audience trends
* Provide general team support including administration, meeting coordination, and budget tracking

Our ideal applicant will have:

Essential qualities:

* Up to 2 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or similar role, including internships or placements
* Evidence of supporting marketing campaigns across digital or print.
* Experience using design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
* Evidence of producing written marketing content, such as social posts, email campaigns, or promotional copy
* Demonstrable experience managing multiple tasks, projects, or deadlines simultaneously

Desirable qualities:

* Experience using CRM, email marketing, or campaign reporting systems
* Experience coordinating marketing materials, suppliers, or external agencies
* Basic understanding of campaign reporting, analytics, or audience insights
* Interest in arts, entertainment, events, or cultural organisations
* Strong eye for visual design and branding consistency

We understand that some candidates may choose to use AI tools to assist with their application. If you do, we kindly encourage you to keep the following in mind:

* Let your personality shine through: AI-generated responses can sometimes feel generic or impersonal. Your application is a chance to showcase your unique experiences, skills, and enthusiasm—make sure your voice comes through clearly.
* Show your genuine interest: A personal touch can make a big difference. Applications that reflect your own words and motivations often stand out more and help us get to know you better.
* Be accurate and honest: It’s important that all information you provide is truthful and genuinely reflects your background and experience.
* Prepare for the next steps: If your application relies heavily on AI, it may be harder to speak confidently about your experiences during interviews. We want you to feel prepared and authentic throughout the process.

The job description can be found at the bottom of our job advert on our recruitment portal located on. This is also where you can find the information of how to apply.

We are committed to ensuring a fair process for all candidates. For more details, please see our Diversity and Inclusion statement on our website’s jobs and opportunities page on the link above.

If you require any assistance or have any additional requirements to complete your application with the recruitment process, please contact the People & Culture Team at or on 02380 711800 ext. 0. You can also contact us with any further questions you may have.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.

Interviews will be held on the 29th and 30th June 2026
