Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Grants Support Officer/Grants Office to work in a hybrid role, offering a mix of home and office-based working. You will play a key role in supporting assisting applicants through the grant process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact by helping organisations access the resources they need to thrive.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the high-volume grant management process from sifting, assessment to monitoring and reporting.
Maintaining accurate records and databases of applications, grants awarded and outcomes.
Managing communication and responding to enquiries from applicants and grant recipients.
Providing administrative support to the Director of the charity.
Assisting organisations and fundraisers with queries and guidance.
Contributing ideas to strengthen our support for communities across Wales.
Essential Experience
Have experience or a strong interest in fundraising, gained through paid or voluntary roles.
Understand the challenges that fundraisers face and bring compassion and empathy to their work.
Be organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
Be confident handling a large number of applications and applying sound judgment to assessments.
Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Be passionate about supporting transformational change in Welsh communities
Enjoy working with detail and have the ability to assess information carefully and fairly.
Have strong administrative and IT skills for maintaining records, working with databases and managing correspondence with high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
