Location: Jubilee Campus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Professor in the Academic Unit, Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences within the established programme team of the Trent Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. This post is an Academic Tutor role, based at the University of Nottingham. The programme is a partnership between the Universities of Nottingham and Lincoln and three local NHS Trusts in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Our intake is 32 trainees per year and the programme is approved by the HCPC and accredited by the BPS.
Responsibilities
* Design, delivery and evaluation of an academic module within the programme.
* Influence teaching and assessment methods across the programme and provide developmental feedback on Trainee Clinical Psychologists' work.
* Act as Personal Tutor to a number of Trainee Clinical Psychologists, providing pastoral support during training.
* Develop a stream of research within your chosen field of expertise and supervise doctoral research (where applicable).
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified Clinical Psychologist with post-qualification experience.
* Registered with the HCPC and eligible for Chartered Status with the BPS.
Contract, Location and Benefits
This post is offered on a part time (14.5 hours per week), fixed term contract for 36 months. Location: Jubilee Campus.
