We are looking for an inspirational KS1 Class Teacher who brings learning to life and creates a classroom where every child feels valued, confident, and excited to achieve their best. We are looking for a start date from April 2026.

Salary type: MPS

Contract type: Fixed Term, (Summer Term)
Hours: Part-time, (3 days) a week

About the role
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Establishing a safe and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect
2. Setting goals that stretch and challenge pupils of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions
3. Demonstrating consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils
4. Being accountable for pupils’ attainment, progress and outcomes
5. Adapting teaching to respond to strengths and needs of pupils
6. Being aware of pupils’ capabilities and prior knowledge, and planning teaching to build on these
7. Having a secure knowledge of the relevant subjects and curriculum areas, fostering and maintaining pupils’ interest in the subject, and addressing misunderstandings

12. Knowledge of effective intervention strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning
13. Effective oral and written communication skills
14. Be enthusiastic and positive
