Job Description

3. Invoice posting across the Group, including coding to the relevant nominal account
4. Ownership of the AP inbox: maintaining an organised inbox with clear categorisation, timely responses and proactive management of outstanding items
5. Supplier statement reconciliations and liaising with suppliers to resolve queries and maintain positive working relationships
6. Processing and posting of expenses
7. Processing, posting and reconciliation of company credit card transactions
8. Own process to clear payments on account, including proactive use of supplier portals to access invoices, match and allocate balances, and resolve queries as well as providing commentary on outstanding items
9. Taking ownership of all required vendor portal access: identifying, setting up and maintaining access across the full account portfolio
10. Month end tasks including preparing accrual for invoices not approved at month end
11. Support the year-end audit process by providing evidence as required
12. Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this role

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

13. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
15. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
16. Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
17. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
