Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 DOE
Location: Hertfordshire, UK

I'm seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team, working on complex and innovative projects across the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver electrical design solutions across RIBA Stages 2–4, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant standards.
* Support pre-contract engineering activities, including post-tender reviews and tender recommendation reports.
* Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
* Review contractor submittals, respond to technical queries, attend site meetings, and perform site and factory inspections.
* Identify non-compliances, witness testing and commissioning, and review O&M documentation before handover.
* Produce calculations, drawings, and technical documentation using relevant software and tools.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional institution (IET or CIBSE), or working towards it.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in the UK Building Services industry, ideally within a design consultancy environment.
* Proven experience delivering electrical design for building services and process-related environments.
