About the role
As part of the team, you’ll be key to selecting and delivering the optimal process solutions for capital projects—from initial concept through to commissioning. You’ll work collaboratively to identify innovative and reliable technologies that meet our goals for whole‑life cost, carbon impact, operability, and process risk. This role offers a clear development pathway, giving you the opportunity to grow your expertise in water and wastewater treatment while working closely with teams across Severn Trent to become a true technical specialist.
What we’re looking for
We welcome applications from individuals with qualifications in process, chemical, environmental engineering or science‑related fields. You’ll need a strong technical or engineering background – ideally in water or wastewater, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience working with process data and engineering programmes. Senior roles require additional experience in stakeholder management, project leadership, and influencing at all levels.
Benefits
* Salary: Process Engineer £35,000 – £45,000; Senior Process Engineer £45,000 – £55,000; Principal Engineer starting at £55,000
