Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Chatham, Kent

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Chatham, Kent for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 or 5 days per week with shifts between 8am and 7:30pm, along with 1 in 3 Saturdays with time off in lieu. Part time applications will also be considered.

4. Hours: Full time, 4 or 5 days per week, shifts between 8am and 7:30pm
5. Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturdays
6. TOIL: A day off in lieu after working a Saturday
7. OOH: None
8. On call: N/A
9. Computer system: Merlin
10. Consultations: 15 minutes
11. Team: Head Vet 1 HVN, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 ANA and a supportive non-clinical team
The role
12. The role will involve working alongside the head vet and practice principle
13. The practice provide a varying caseload consultation wise and due to the variation it is ideal for a vet to develop their skills and knowledge whilst also ideal for a more experienced Vets to keep them stimulated
14. There are surgery days on a rota basis

16. The vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service
17. The vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients

About you
30. The ideal Vet will have a some post graduate experience
31. The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships
32. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills
33. The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care and always willing to go that extra mile for patients
Package
34. Salary: Up to £75, per annum, commensurate to experience
35. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
