You are probably an existing Sous Chef, or perhaps a Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager looking to take the next step in your career.
You will have experience working with fresh ingredients and demonstrate strong chef/kitchen skills, including food prep (hot and cold), cleaning, knife skills, and good hygiene practices.
Your work ethic involves rolling up your sleeves, leading from the front, and actively contributing to delivering excellent kitchen and food standards as part of a high-performing team.
You are extremely driven and relentless in overcoming challenges and maintaining a positive mindset.
You are familiar with KPIs and capable of making decisions in the absence of the Head Chef, considering factors like labor, stock, and food safety requirements.
Exceptional communication skills are essential, with the ability to manage stakeholders and build rapport and trust with our Ops Chefs and Ops Managers.
You have strong knowledge of best practices around rota scheduling, sales and labor forecasts, reporting, recruitment, HR, etc.
You have demonstrated success in delivering training and recruitment for kitchen teams, including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs, and Sous Chefs.
