As a supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the restaurant management team oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of service, and maintaining an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will lead, support, and manage restaurant staff while ensuring efficient operations and upholding the Firepits commitment to quality food and outstanding service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, train, and motivate restaurant staff, including waiting staff and bartenders. Schedule shifts and ensure proper staffing levels to meet guest demand.
Ensure that all guests receive excellent service and promptly address any concerns or issues to ensure satisfaction.
Assist restaurant manager/s in the daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness and organisation.
Monitor the quality of food, presentation, and service standards. Ensure that all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
Help manage inventory and supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner to avoid shortages.
Foster a positive work environment and encourage team communication and collaboration to ensure smooth service.
Encourage sales and upselling by promoting menu items, specials, and drink pairings to guests.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations regarding food safety, alcohol service, and health standards.
Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and a focus on resolving concerns quickly and efficiently.
