Criterion Hospitality is looking for a talented Reservations Agent with hotel experience to join our team. About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Reservations Agent will be the vital link between our guests and the hotel. You’ll manage reservations efficiently, maximise room sales, and ensure every enquiry is handled with professionalism and warmth.
Key Responsibilities
* Maximise room sales through accurate selling status and proactive up-selling techniques.
* Process reservations, amendments, extensions, early departures, and cancellations.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Criterion Hospitality hotels, rates, promotions, and offers.
* Monitor reservation levels and prepare occupancy reports as required.
* Support smooth guest communication by ensuring special requirements are relayed to relevant departments.
* Deliver service excellence by anticipating guest needs, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with all hotel standards, policies, and health & safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous hotel reservations or front office experience is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of hotel systems and reservation processes.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
