About the role
We are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to support the delivery of sessions for young people aged 10 to 19 on evenings at Bilsthorpe Young People Centre (NG228PY). Evening sessions times are 6pm to 8:30pm. This is a term time only position. This role is based at Bilsthorpe Young People Centre (NG228PY) working directly with young people.
Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with young people aged 10 to 19
* Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session to young people
* Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification (note this will include some Saturday training, estimated 9 Saturdays, plus some evening training online and in person)
* Be able to be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues
* Be a positive role model to young people
Requirements / Qualifications
* Willingness to complete required training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification
* Ability to work evenings during term time
