About your team Fund Accounting is part of Fund Servicing and Ovesight (FSO), and is responsible for maintaining the books and records of a broad range of funds FSO is the operational backbone of Fidelity International, that provides trade settlement, asset pricing, corporate action processing, as well as fund accounting (NAV generation and production of reports and accounts for our funds). FSO are represented across the globe with teams in Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, South Korea, Taiwan, & the UK. About your role Preparation and review of financial statements for a range of complex Investment Companies and OEIC sub funds. Preparation and review of management and board reporting and other external returns. Attendance at audit committee meetings to support the presentation of financial reporting material. Oversight of activities performed by a third part service provider. Corordination of the external audit for the Investment Companies. Liaison with tax specialists and Depositary/Trustee. Conduct analysis and review of dividend announcements to ensure correct accounting treatment Resolution of audit queries and reconciling positions to Depositary statements Keeping abreast of industry and technical developments About you Previous fund statutory reporting experience for Investment Company Funds. Proven understanding and knowledge of the AIC SORP and or IA SORP. Proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnel Analytical approach with aptitude to work independently and solve complex problems Proven ability to prioritise and organise own time in order to meet strict deadlines Strong attention to detail, analytical and numerate mind-set Part qualified accountant or qualified by experience Team player with a flexible attitude, able to prioritise, work under pressure and to tight deadlines Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues and work collaboratively to achieve team goals Good organisational skills, a self-starter who is able to take ownership of issues Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other Office programmes Feel rewarded For starters, we'll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
