Business Development Manager
THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to drive sales of energy meters, transformers and cloud-based monitoring software across Wales, the West Midlands and Southwest England. You'll inherit a well-established territory with over 100 active accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Customers range from OEMs, M&E contractors and electrical wholesalers through to end users across sectors including retail, commercial buildings and manufacturing. Supported by an internal sales colleague, you'll engage with contacts from engineers and installers through to business owners and directors, helping customers improve their energy monitoring and management capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven success managing and developing a sales territory
* A technical mindset with the ability to understand solution-based products
* Collaborative approach and team ethic
* Full, clean UK driving licence
THE PACKAGE:
* Uncapped commission with expected year one earnings of £12,000
* Electric company car
* Pension contribution, healthcare and 4x salary death in service
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service
