This is a high-impact role surveying a portfolio of up to 30 capital projects, with individual project values ranging from £50,000 to £400,000. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of a wide range of refurbishment, structural, and upgrade projects across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will survey up to 30 projects at one time You will conduct site inspections, feasibility studies, and condition surveys to define project scope and requirements and prepare and manage specifications, drawings, and tender documentation As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will liaise with internal stakeholders, clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project coordination You will monitor contractor performance and manage on-site delivery to mitigate risk and avoid delays As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will mentor and support junior members of staff providing training and supporting with your knowledge Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies Support budget control, contract management, and procurement processes as required Candidate: As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be RICS qualified (or working towards this) You will have experience of overseeing multiple capital projects at one time You will have excellent communication skills You will have experience of supporting junior member of staff
