We’re looking for experienced Pipe/Mechanical Fitters for day shifts working between the main Fab Shop and on site locations.
Service periods: 1–2 weeks in the Fab Shop followed by 1–2 weeks on sites, or 3–4 weeks at a time. Duties include installation and fabrication of pipework 2–4 inch and 6–12 inch carbon and stainless pipe, setting up pipe butts and flanges to QC specifications, and preparing work for coded welders.
Fit pipework, valves, and supports to engineering drawings, and fit pre‑fabricated pipe spools and supports. Read and interpret PID and GA drawings.
Qualifications
* Level 3/Apprenticeship/ACE in Pipe Fitting
* Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in nuclear, oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, marine & shipbuilding, heavy industrial construction
* Competency‑based interview demonstration

* Pay: PAYE or CIS rates +12.5 % on basic hours – £24 per day – £30 per night – £32 OT1 – £38 OT2
